Bigfoot Travel provides travel planning, booking assistance and local printing services. Bigfoot Travel operates as an independent travel advisor affiliated with InteleTravel.
2. What personal data we collect
Travel Planning Requests: when you submit a travel request, we collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, trip details (departure location, destination, dates, number of travellers), budget, currency, preferences (e.g. flights, hotels, activities, travel style) and any additional information you provide.
Printing information: when you place a printing order, we collect your contact details, pickup preferences and the files you upload.
Website technical information: our web server automatically records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps for security and operational purposes.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to prepare and deliver your travel plan or printing order, to contact you about your request, to improve our services, and to keep the website secure. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Lawful basis
We process personal data to take steps at your request prior to providing our services (for example, preparing a travel plan or a printing order), for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services and keeping them secure, and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
5. InteleTravel and travel suppliers
If you ask Bigfoot Travel to help arrange travel bookings, relevant information may need to be provided to InteleTravel and/or the applicable travel supplier where necessary to arrange the requested travel services.
Information you submit through the InteleTravel booking system or directly to a travel supplier may be subject to InteleTravel's own privacy policy and the applicable supplier's policies. Bigfoot Travel does not control how InteleTravel or travel suppliers process your data once it has been provided to them, and we encourage you to review their policies before booking.
6. Storage and retention
Uploaded files and order details are stored securely and are deleted when you ask us to, or once they are no longer needed. Completed or cancelled print orders can be deleted by you from the order page at any time. Backups may retain data for a short additional period before being rotated.
7. Data security
The website is served over HTTPS, uploaded files are validated for type and size, the admin area is protected by authentication, and access to stored data is restricted to authorised staff. No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure.
8. International transfers
InteleTravel and travel suppliers may process booking information in countries outside the UK and the EEA. Where this happens, we will only share the information needed to arrange the travel services you have requested, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of InteleTravel and the applicable supplier for details of their transfer safeguards.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
